I started Mint Parcel back in 2009. At the time, I wanted to learn a skill set that would make my day job more secure. I was also itching to find a creative outlet in my life (I had studied dance all through high school and college). I decided to teach myself the basics of Adobe Illustrator. I loved it so much I began designing outside of work - creating cute characters in whatever spare time I could find.
I opened my Etsy shop with a handful of prints, after only a few months of illustrating. I slowly found a following. I made some sales. And here we are today, still going and still growing.
Mint Parcel has been featured on numerous blogs, such as Art Hound, ComicsAlliance, Simplesong and Apartment Therapy.
I have illustrated books for duopress, PomegranateKids and Xist Publishing.
Although my illustration style has developed over the years, Mint Parcel remains the same - simple and sweet, no fuss designs of cuteness.
